Job Title: Fashion Buyer

Location: Carlisle, CA3 8SY

Hours: 37.5 hours a week- Monday- Friday

Our client, one of the UK’s leaders in the retail industry, is offering an outstanding employment opportunity to work within their business. The client, who are a large and dynamic company within the fashion retail sector, continue to enjoy sustained growth. As a result of recent growth, we are now embarking on an important recruitment exercise for our client.

We are looking for an enthusiastic Buyer to join their Buying team based in Carlisle.

Overview of the role:

• Responsible for sourcing, developing and delivering a commercially focused and well balance product range alongside the Merchandiser
• Aiming to develop ranges to maximize sales and profit aligned to brand market position/ value.
• Continually exceed customer expectations through delivering a consistent , commercial , well balanced range
• Working as part of a team with merchandising, design & QA. Achieving goals in a timely manner
• Building effective working relationships across the business and developing team members to reach their maximum potential.
• Strong communication, presentation and influencing skills are essential
• Creative mind with attention to detail

This is a fast paced and challenging role. The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels. You will be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines along with the ability to work as part of a team as well as on your own.

You will be positive in approach, able to work in a dynamic business environment, but above all be committed to the delivery of outstanding customer service. You will be a strong communicator at all levels and be able to react to priority changes.
